Captain Nguyen Van Duc, Political Officer of Radar Station 615, shared: "Although the gift to the charity class is small, it contains the affection of the officers and soldiers of the station for the students, with the desire to share some of their difficulties and create motivation for them to strive for better academic performance."

The Hon Chuoi Island Charity Class was opened in 1995, taught by "green-uniformed" teachers from the Hon Chuoi Border Guard Post. Currently, the class has 32 students from grades 1 to 7 and has been recognized as a school within the education system of Song Doc town.

Hon Chuoi Island, with an area of approximately 7 km² , is one of the important outpost islands in the Southwest of Vietnam. The island has a complex topography, steep slopes, and harsh weather conditions, with little rain and much sunshine.

Currently, Hon Chuoi Island has 39 households with 120 inhabitants. The island is home to three military forces: the Navy, the Border Guard, and the Lighthouse. The people of Hon Chuoi Island mainly live by cage fish farming, and their lives are still difficult due to the lack of national electricity grid, schools, medical facilities, and frequent shortages of fresh water.
