Ho Chi Minh City delegation visited and presented gifts at Tho Chau special economic zone

On September 11, continuing the program of visiting officers, soldiers and people on the Southwest islands and DK1/10 platform, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation arrived at Tho Chau special zone, An Giang province.

Comrade Dinh Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, presented gifts to the military and civilians of Tho Chau special zone.

Comrade Dinh Thi Thanh Thuy sent words of encouragement and gratitude to the officers, soldiers and forces who are working day and night to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation presented many works and practical gifts (equipment, necessities, televisions, water purifiers, seeds, etc.) to help improve the lives of officers, soldiers and people on the island, with a total value of more than 200 million VND. The funding was drawn from the Fund "For the homeland's sea and islands - For the frontline of the Fatherland" with the support and contributions of businesses, individuals and delegates participating in the delegation.
