On October 20th, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh province, the Organizing Committee of the "Understanding Quang Ninh's 60 Years of Construction and Development" competition held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition, acknowledged and praised the dedication, active response, and participation of officials, Party members, Youth Union members, association members, and people inside and outside the province in the competition.

Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong suggested that after the awards ceremony, localities and units should continue to promptly and appropriately recognize and reward outstanding individuals and groups who contributed to the success of the competition, as well as dedicated authors and groups of authors who have many ideas and suggestions for the development of their localities and units.
According to the Organizing Committee, in the writing category, there were over 314,000 entries from 302,600 individual authors and 11,423 groups of authors. Several localities had a high number of entries: Ha Long City had 96,186 entries, the highest number of participants; Dong Trieu town had 46,128 entries; the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee had 40,500 entries; and Quang Yen town had a total of 14,368 entries.
For the online multiple-choice test format, across three rounds, it attracted over 371,000 participants. Of these, more than 62,000 were from outside Quang Ninh province. Meanwhile, the stage performance competition attracted over 5,000 contestants and spectators who came to cheer them on.
The Organizing Committee of the "Understanding Quang Ninh's 60 Years of Construction and Development" competition selected and awarded 2 First Prizes, 10 Second Prizes, 20 Third Prizes, and 30 Consolation Prizes to individual authors and groups of authors; awarded 13 collective prizes to Party Committees with outstanding achievements in directing and organizing the writing competition; and presented certificates and prizes to 18 collectives and 48 individuals who won prizes in the multiple-choice competition .
