Awarding VNSF scholarships for the first semester at Phan Ngoc Hien commune

On the morning of November 2, at Bong Van Dia Secondary School (Phan Ngoc Hien Commune), the Union of Friendship Organizations of Ca Mau Province coordinated with the People's Committee of Phan Ngoc Hien Commune and The Vietnam Scholarship Foundation (VNSF) to organize the VNSF scholarship awarding ceremony for the first semester, school year 2025-2026 for students from 3 communes: Tan An, Dat Mui and Phan Ngoc Hien.

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Do Thi Dao, Director of VNSF Scholarship Program in Vietnam and Mr. Huynh Thanh Dam, Vice Chairman of Phan Ngoc Hien Commune People's Committee.

At the ceremony, 20 scholarships were awarded with a total value of 49 million VND, of which primary school students received 1 million VND/scholarship, secondary school students 1.25 million VND/scholarship, high school students 1.5 million VND/scholarship and university students 13 million VND/scholarship. These scholarships are not only practical material support, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, giving students more determination to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Phan Ngoc Hien commune awarded the Golden Heart recognition plaque to The Vietnam Scholarship Foundation (VNSF) to express gratitude for its companionship and contribution to the local cause of promoting education and talents.

Mr. Huynh Thanh Dam, Vice Chairman of Phan Ngoc Hien Commune People's Committee (6th, right) presented a plaque of recognition for the golden heart to the sponsor.

It is known that VNSF has been accompanying poor but studious students for a long time from primary school to university, contributing to improving the quality of education and inspiring the spirit of learning and progress in the young generation.
