Giving Mid-Autumn gifts and scholarships to children in difficult circumstances

On the afternoon of September 28, the People's Committee of Huong Thuy town (Thua Thien Hue province) organized the program "Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with children in difficult circumstances" in 2023 with many meaningful activities.

Awarding scholarships to students in especially difficult circumstances

Participating in the program, disadvantaged, homeless and disabled children in Huong Thuy town had the chance to play, watch lion dance performances, enjoy exciting performances, and scenes of Cuoi and Hang...

Through contributions from charitable organizations and individuals, at the program, in addition to 200 Mid-Autumn gifts (each worth 200,000 VND), the Organizing Committee also awarded 40 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, to children in especially difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Ngoc Son - Secretary of Huong Thuy Town Party Committee emphasized that "Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with children in difficult circumstances" is a meaningful activity, organized annually by the town. The program demonstrates the affection and responsibility of the local Party Committee and government, the companionship and sharing of the social community towards the work of educating, caring for and protecting children, especially poor children and children in difficult circumstances in the area.
