Launching the writing contest "Deep memories of teachers and school" in 2025

The City Department of Education and Training has just launched a writing contest "Deep memories of teachers and school" in 2025 to the People's Committees at the commune level, schools, and centers under the department.

According to the rules, the content of the entries focuses on deep memories of teachers and school, deep impressions of teachers that the author loves and admires, or the special impacts and influences of teachers on learning, perception, and changes in the author's personal life (or the author's friends and relatives). Typical pedagogical situations and ways to resolve those situations by teachers that the author has encountered or experienced, demonstrating the professional capacity, creativity as well as the teachers' affection for students and for the profession. Memories, impressions, and deep attachment to the school that the author or the author's friends and relatives have attended or are attending.

The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Education and Times Newspaper is the permanent unit assigned to the task. Entries must be written in Vietnamese, in prose form, each work must be at least 500 words (can be accompanied by illustrative images and videos if available).

The deadline for submissions is October 31, 2025. Submissions should be sent to email: [email protected]; the closing and award ceremony is expected to be held in November 2025.

The award structure includes 2 collective awards (VND 5 million/prize); 2 first prizes (worth VND 10 million/prize); 4 second prizes (VND 8 million/prize); 6 third prizes (VND 6 million/prize); 10 consolation prizes (VND 2 million/prize). In addition, there are 2 awards for outstanding characters in the winning works and other secondary awards.
