Regiment 917 (Air Division 370) organized a training flight to rescue people over the sea of ​​Rach Gia ward, An Giang province.

With the motto "practice well to maneuver quickly and respond effectively", officers and soldiers of Regiment 917 constantly improve the quality of training, organize and implement quality flight training, and ensure flight safety.

Flight crews are trained to master the subjects and flight ranges; have good endurance, maneuverability and judgment in conditions without landmarks and rapidly changing meteorological conditions.


All officers and soldiers of the unit have been trained to improve their driving skills, especially sea flying skills; accurately calculating and determining the location of people needing emergency aid.

To successfully complete the training program, all officers and soldiers practicing flight focused on reviewing theoretical knowledge, actively practicing emergency hover flights at the airport, and coordinating training with flight crew members.

Officers and soldiers of Regiment 917 have been trained to improve their piloting skills, especially sea flying skills; to calculate faster and more accurately the location of people needing rescue, wind direction, and rescue hanging techniques at sea; to know how to base on the capabilities of rescue equipment and the skills of parachute staff to control the aircraft to approach the target, creating the most favorable conditions for rescuing people at sea.
