On August 3, information from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that the demand and purchasing power of Chinese people for Vietnamese agricultural products and food is increasing.
China is currently the largest agricultural export market of our country, accounting for an average of 28% of the total export turnover of this group of products to the world . The export growth rate is about 8.9%/year.
Particularly since the beginning of the year, in the context of global trade being negatively affected by a sharp decline in purchasing power, agricultural export turnover to China has still grown positively, in which fruit and vegetable exports account for 56% of the country's total fruit and vegetable exports.
Vietnamese agricultural products are popular in the Chinese market. |
However, China is no longer an easy market. Therefore, businesses in the industry are forced to change their production methods towards safety, with specific standards, manage the cultivation process, and meet traceability requirements in order to boost exports to the Chinese market in the coming time.
