Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Board Vu Duc Bao visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Nguyen Kim Dong (born in 1930), a 4/4 war invalid and veteran, in Group 6, Mai Dong Ward. Mr. Nguyen Kim Dong was a soldier who participated in the takeover of the Capital.

Next, the Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Board visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Phan Dinh Tri (born in 1930), a 2/4 war invalid, a veteran, in group 19, Mai Dong ward. Mr. Phan Dinh Tri participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, then returned to take over the capital.

At the families, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee Vu Duc Bao and his companions kindly asked about the health and living conditions of the veterans and their families; at the same time, expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of the veterans and their families to the capital and the country.

According to Head of the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee Vu Duc Bao, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, Hanoi has carried out meaningful activities to care for the lives, cultural and spiritual life of the people, and to show gratitude to those who have contributed. Thereby, expressing the deep gratitude of the City to those who have contributed, revolutionary families, especially the veteran revolutionaries who directly contributed to the liberation of the Capital Hanoi.

Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Board Vu Duc Bao respectfully wished the veterans and their families good health. He believed and hoped that the veterans and their families would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition, actively participate in local activities, and contribute to building the capital city to be increasingly prosperous, civilized, and modern.

Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee Vu Duc Bao also requested that the Party committees and authorities of Hoang Mai district continue to better implement the policy of "repaying gratitude", "remembering the source when drinking water", and promptly care for and encourage families of meritorious people and policy families in the area, especially on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day.
