At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Kim Pha, Principal of To Hieu Political School, read a speech reviewing the 75th anniversary of the School's founding. He emphasized that throughout the 75 years of construction and development, in each period, To Hieu Political School has constantly innovated its organization and activities to train and foster cadres to meet the requirements of building a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the city on par with the assigned tasks. Generations of cadres and lecturers, with their enthusiasm, intelligence and courage, have built the School into the only city-level training and fostering center for cadres, civil servants and public employees in Hai Phong , affirming its prestige and position in the system of political schools nationwide. Generations of cadres, civil servants and public employees have been trained and practiced here - many of whom have matured and become leading nuclei in Party, government and mass organizations from the grassroots to the Central level.
Over the past years, inheriting the achievements, under the leadership and direction of the City Party Committee, the guidance of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the effective coordination of the Departments, branches and sectors; in particular, the cadres, civil servants and workers have constantly made efforts, with enthusiasm, intelligence, courage and responsibility, joining hands and wholeheartedly to build the School into one of the first political schools in the country to reach level 1 standards and basically complete the criteria of a level 2 political school. This is an important milestone, a turning point in the 75-year journey of construction and development, affirming the maturity of organization, staff, content, teaching methods, scientific research and facilities.
It can be affirmed that, over the past 75 years, To Hieu Political School has continuously grown and matured in terms of internal strength. The school has affirmed its important role in training and fostering cadres and party members for the city as well as its position in the system of political schools across the country.
On behalf of the School's leadership, the Principal of To Hieu Political School respectfully acknowledges the contributions of generations of cadres, lecturers, and civil servants of the school, who have built the foundation for today's Party School. With the great contributions of the School in training and fostering, in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, To Hieu Political School has been honored to receive many noble titles and awards from the Party and State: First, Second, and Third Class Labor Medals; Third Class Independence Medal and many other noble awards. These achievements are the result of solidarity and inheritance of tradition, with the determination to overcome all difficulties and challenges, with the desire to break through, with the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility; with the intelligence and responsibility of the collective of cadres, civil servants, and workers of the School through many generations.
Principal of the Political School To Hieu said that in order to implement the policy of merging Hai Phong city and Hai Duong province, the political school will also merge. This is a big challenge but also creates an opportunity for each cadre and civil servant to practice their mettle, raise their sense of responsibility to continue to steadfastly contribute to the cause of training, fostering cadres, scientific research, summarizing practical experiences on the political system and Party building of the city, worthy of the important responsibility assigned by the Party and the State.
On the solid foundation of tradition and great achievements in the two-thirds of a century of construction and development, the cadres, lecturers and civil servants of To Hieu Political School will continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, proactiveness, innovation and creativity; continue to do well in training, fostering, scientific research, summarizing practices; actively study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style with specific and effective actions. The School will turn the recognized criteria into practical actions, deeply permeate the cultural, teaching, learning and research environment; build the School to be worthy of being the only training and fostering facility for cadres at the city level.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong stated that after 75 years of fighting and training, To Hieu Political School has continuously grown, becoming a place to nurture the revolution, making an important contribution to the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland, making many great contributions to the development of the city, with hundreds of thousands of students trained and fostered. The school always adheres to its political tasks, promptly meeting the requirements of training and fostering cadres for the renovation period. The school has gradually expanded its types, diversified its forms, innovated its training and fostering methods, focused on improving its quality, constantly improving its training and fostering management process; strengthened theoretical research, summarized practical experience, focused on clarifying new issues raised by the city's reality, actively participated in the struggle to refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints; Building a team of highly qualified, courageous, steadfast and exemplary cadres and lecturers; gradually investing in and building modern and synchronous facilities and techniques. The school has been proactive in building a standard political school with the result of being one of the first three political schools in the country to reach level 1 standards and has completed the criteria for a level 2 standard political school according to Regulation No. 11-QD/TW of the Secretariat.
On behalf of the city leaders, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee warmly congratulated and commended the important achievements that generations of cadres, teachers, and students have strived to achieve, and the great contributions of the School to the development of the locality. After three quarters of a century of construction and growth, with the glorious tradition of the School, along with a team of dedicated and responsible cadres and lecturers, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee believes that To Hieu Political School will excellently complete all assigned tasks, the School will continue to affirm the tradition and history of the school training cadres in the homeland of the Port City "Loyalty, determination to win"; with solid foundations, it will create momentum for the next stages, together with the Party Committee and people of the Port City to successfully carry out the goals and tasks in the era of national development.
On this occasion, To Hieu Political School received a Certificate of Merit from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, 3 individuals received the Medal "For the cause of training and fostering political theory" from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; 3 groups and 8 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the City People's Committee; 13 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Principal of To Hieu Political School.
