University of Economics and Law announces admission methods and tuition fees for the 2025 academic year

On the morning of June 15, the University of Economics and Law (VNU-HCM) announced information on enrollment for full-time university training.

This year, the school enrolls students in 3 ways with 2,700 quotas. In addition, the school also enrolls students in international joint training programs with degrees granted by foreign schools.

Method 1: Direct admission and priority direct admission

+ Subject 1: Candidates admitted directly according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates who have won first, second, or third prizes in the national excellent student exam subject group included in the school's admission group; foreign candidates who meet the language proficiency standards according to the requirements of the training program and major.

+ Subject 2: Excellent and talented candidates from high schools (1 of the group of 5 students with the highest average score of 3 years of high school, recommended by the high school principal).

+ Subject 3: Candidates on the list of 149 high schools with priority for admission to Ho Chi Minh City National University

+ Subject 4: Candidates with International Baccalaureate (IB)/A-level certificate or SAT or ACT certificate.

Method 2: Admission based on the results of the 2025 HCM City National University's Competency Assessment Test (CAT)

Admission score = National High School Exam score + English certificate bonus points + Priority points for subjects and regions.

Method 3: Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025

Admission score = Total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination + English certificate bonus points + Priority points for subjects and regions.

6 admission subject combinations apply to all majors/specializations and methods of the school, including: A00, D01, A01, D07, X26, X25.

From June 15 to July 5, candidates can access the website: https://dkxtdhcq.uel.edu.vn to submit documents and evidence as required by the admission methods. Note that candidates must provide evidence for admission online and not send documents by post .

From July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates will register their wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions portal. Candidates can register their wishes for many different majors/specializations/programs and there is no limit on the number, but they must arrange their wishes in order of priority from highest to lowest.

In case many wishes are eligible for admission, candidates will only be recognized as admitted and called for admission according to the highest wish.
