Candidates who qualify for early admission should note the regulations to officially be admitted to university.
On the evening of June 21st, two more public universities announced the cutoff scores for early admission methods (excluding the high school graduation requirement) for 2024.
* The Admissions Council of the University of Banking Ho Chi Minh City announces the minimum admission scores for the 2024 academic year based on the combined admission method and the V-SAT computer-based university entrance assessment method (excluding the high school graduation requirement).
The admission cutoff scores include priority points for region and category as regulated. The admission scores for English Language and English Language (Special Program) using the V-SAT method for the English subject have been multiplied by a factor of 2 and converted to a 450-point scale.

*Ho Chi Minh City University of Law announces the eligibility scores for early admission to the regular undergraduate program in 2024 for candidates admitted directly, through preferential admission, and through early admission according to its own admission plan.
Group 1 includes Candidates who win first, second, or third prize in the national excellent student selection exam are eligible for direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the university's university admission regulations.

What advice do schools give to eligible candidates?
The University of Banking Ho Chi Minh City will verify the high school academic results, supporting documents for priority groups and priority areas against the information on the Ministry of Education and Training's system and the original documents when candidates complete the enrollment procedures. If the verification results show discrepancies leading to a change in the admission results, the University of Banking Ho Chi Minh City will cancel the admission results according to regulations.
Candidates who meet the admission requirements must continue to register their application preferences on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions system according to regulations from July 18th to 5 PM on July 30th, coinciding with the registration period for the admission method based on the 2024 high school graduation exam scores.
The Ho Chi Minh City University of Law also notes that this is only the eligibility result for admission; this result will become official when the candidate has graduated from high school; and there is a valid verification result of the international certificate (or the certificate provided by the examination organizing unit to the university at the candidate's request) and/or a comparison of the original high school transcript with the documents that the candidate has provided to the university.
Furthermore, candidates whose names are on the list of those eligible for early admission, if they still wish to study at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, must continue to register their preferences based on the information provided by the university regarding their eligibility for early admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions system. Accordingly, candidates should select the correct category and method for early admission as notified by the university: Category 1 (code-method name): 301 - direct admission according to regulations; Category 2 (code-method name): 410 - combination of high school academic results and international certificates; Category 3 (code-method name): 303 - early admission according to the university's own admissions plan.
