For grade 10, the My Dinh campus enrolls 12 classes with 360 students, the Van Phu campus enrolls 14 classes with 420 students, and the Viet Hung campus enrolls 18 classes with 540 students… Viet Hung is also the only campus of the school that enrolls kindergarten children, with 3 classes of 4-year-olds (60 children) and 2 classes of 5-year-olds (40 children).
This year, Marie Curie School continues to implement online enrollment registration, with a limited registration period. For kindergarten and first grade, enrollment at all campuses will be based on a one-day school experience; for sixth grade, enrollment will be based on an assessment of math and English skills; and for tenth grade, admission will be based on the scores from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training's entrance exam for public high schools.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khang, Chairman of the Marie Curie School Board, said that specific guidelines for enrollment in kindergarten, grade 1, and grade 6 are expected in February; and guidelines for enrollment in grade 10 will be issued in April.
Multiple admission methods
Hanoi Star Secondary and Primary School announces the recruitment of 204 students for grade 6 for the upcoming school year and accepts online applications. The admission process will use two methods: direct admission and assessment of abilities.
This includes direct admission for students who have won gold medals, international cups, or first prizes at the city or national level in mathematics, science , English, arts, and sports organized by reputable organizations, based on their achievements in grades 3, 4, and 5.
Admission will be based on an aptitude assessment using the results of the scholarship exam that this school will hold in February.
Archimedes School is recruiting 700 6th-grade students for its two campuses in Cau Giay District and Dong Anh District. Students must take an assessment in mathematics, Vietnamese, and English in both multiple-choice and essay formats. Each subject will have 60-90 minutes to complete. The admission score is the sum of the three subjects, with mathematics and English weighted twice. The school also requires applicants to have achieved a "good" level of academic performance and character development in grades 3, 4, and 5.
Representatives from Doan Thi Diem Secondary and High School (Hanoi) stated that the school plans to recruit 900 students for the 6th grade next academic year through a review of application documents, academic records, and aptitude tests. Students who meet the academic record requirements will then be tested in mathematics, Vietnamese, and a foreign language.
FPT High School also announced three admission methods for 10th grade next academic year, including reviewing academic records, academic achievements, and using 10th grade exam scores from Hanoi.
If using academic transcripts, candidates must achieve an average score of 61/90 or higher across three semesters (both 8th grade and the first semester of 9th grade) in the three subjects of mathematics, literature, and foreign language.
For admission based on academic achievement, candidates must have achieved 3.5 years of excellent academic performance in junior high school or won a national award in arts, sports, or science and technology in grade 9. The general condition for all three methods is a minimum "good" conduct grade in junior high school.
Vinschool accepts applications from students with good conduct and academic results (above average) throughout all four years of lower secondary school. Afterward, students take the school's entrance exam. For the standard program, candidates take exams in mathematics, Vietnamese language and literature, English, and logical reasoning; while for the advanced program, candidates take exams in Vietnamese language and literature, English, science, and mathematics in English. The final round is an interview with a teacher.
