Youth of Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command volunteered...

On the afternoon of November 4, the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command held a conference to review the work of the Youth Union and youth movement in the period of 2022-2025 and deploy directions and tasks of the Youth Union and youth movement in the period of 2025-2030.

In the 2022-2025 period, with the regular leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Command Board and Party committees and commanders at all levels, the Youth Union work and youth movement of the Border Guard Command have achieved important results.

The youth organizations have closely followed the Resolutions, programs, plans, and instructions from above, effectively organized and implemented youth movements and action programs, contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks and the building of a strong and comprehensive unit. 100% of cadres, union members, and youth have a steadfast political stance, good moral qualities, and are proactive in carrying out tasks in all fields.

Colonel Ro Lan Ngan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, spoke at the Conference.

Notably, the shock troops participated in patrolling, controlling and protecting more than 71km of border with Cambodia and 89km of coastline; hundreds of union members participated in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, working 24/7 at trails and openings; organized over 1,800 working days to help people build roads, repair schools, cultural houses, prevent and fight natural disasters, search and rescue, etc.

The Youth Union organizations have carried out more than 200 youth projects and tasks, with a total value of over 4.5 billion VND; presented more than 50,000 gifts, scholarships, 10,000 national flags, 4,000 clean water bottles, provided free medical examinations and medicines to over 5,000 people; the program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of the Border Guard Station" continues to be maintained effectively, with 83 students being sponsored and supported and 5 children being raised directly at the Border Guard Station.

The work of discovering, nurturing and introducing outstanding members to the Party has always been focused on. 270 outstanding members have been introduced to attend Party awareness classes, of which 189 comrades were honored to join the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam , contributing to supplementing the Party's youthful vitality, affirming the role of the Youth Union as the Party's reliable reserve force.

In the coming time, with the slogan of action "Courage, aspiration, initiative, creativity, confidence to firmly step into the new era ", the youth of the Provincial Border Guard Command will continue to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity, proactively deploy revolutionary action movements, strive to successfully implement the goals and targets of the Resolution of the Party Congress and the Youth Union Congress at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; actively participate in building a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical", and a clean and strong Party organization.

Speaking at the Conference, Colonel Ro Lan Ngan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, suggested that in the coming time, we should continue to strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees and commanders at all levels in the work of the Youth Union and youth movements; strongly promote the pioneering and creative role of the Youth Union organization and the contingent of cadres, union members and youth in performing political tasks; promote the intelligence, youth and creativity of union members in researching initiatives, improving techniques, applying science and technology to improve training quality and combat readiness; actively participate in volunteer activities for the community, building new rural areas, preventing natural disasters, searching and rescuing.
