This is the first time Chinese cargo trucks have been transported into Vietnam through the Agreement on Facilitation of Cross-Border Transport of Goods and Passengers between the Greater Mekong Subregion countries.

The international road transport route from China to Hanoi (Vietnam) has been officially opened.

These two transport routes connect China via the Hekou border gate (Yunnan province) and the Youyiguan border gate (Guangxi) to Hanoi.

This direct transportation adopts the method of “one container to destination” and “one truck to destination,” thereby giving full play to the advantages of point-to-point road transportation, high efficiency and low turnover rate.

Compared with traditional transportation methods, each truck can save about 1 day of time and costs can be saved from 800-1,000 yuan (about 2.8-3.6 million VND).

In addition, the transportation time efficiency has been significantly improved, and the convenience of China-Vietnam international road transportation has been continuously improved./.
