The document regarding news articles related to Ly Tu Trong College, Ho Chi Minh City was sent by the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the Department of Culture and Sports, the City Police and the City Inspectorate.

According to the document, on October 25, 2025, the media successively reported news articles related to Ly Tu Trong College, Ho Chi Minh City.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has the following instructions:

"Request the Department of Education and Training to urgently preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture and Sports , City Police, City Inspectorate and relevant units to review the above reflection content, provide advice and propose to submit to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for strict handling according to regulations (if there are violations)".

The Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee conveys the direction of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to the units for implementation.

Previously, according to information from Tuoi Tre Online , the Department of Education and Training issued a document announcing the results of the inspection of the implementation of functions and tasks of Ly Tu Trong College, Ho Chi Minh City, with many notable contents.

These include the illegal temporary collection of tuition fees; the refund of tuition exemptions and reductions that have not been promptly made by the school; violations in college enrollment; teachers' teaching hours exceeding the norm; public financial management; management and use of public assets; accounting, bidding activities, etc.

In order to have a basis to submit to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for consideration and decision on handling administrative violations in the field of vocational education or signs of law violations by Ly Tu Trong College, Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Education and Training coordinates with the City Police and related units to complete the contents of consultation with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

On the school's side, the leader of Ly Tu Trong College, Ho Chi Minh City, said that the school did not agree with many contents in the announcement of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, and requested to provide additional explanations.
