According to a VNA correspondent in Europe, on June 2, the European Football Federation (UEFA) announced that it had begun an investigation into coach Jose Mourinho of AS Roma (Italy), accusing the strategist of making insulting statements towards referee Anthony Taylor in the recent Europa League final.

In videos circulating on the Internet, Coach Mourinho appears in the tunnel and makes insulting remarks aimed at the English referee, calling him a “disgrace.”

Previously, in the press conference after the final match in Budapest (Hungary), the Portuguese strategist also complained about referee Anthony Taylor not giving AS Roma a penalty kick when Matic passed the ball and it touched the hand of Sevilla player Fernando.

In addition, he also complained about the referee not consulting the VAR team for the situation where Sevilla player Lamela had a cold-blooded attack on an opposing player.

In the Europa League final, AS Rome drew 1-1 with Sevilla in regulation time and extra time. However, in the penalty shootout, the Italian team lost to the Spanish representative.

Not only Coach Mourinho, many AS Roma fans were also dissatisfied with referee Anthony Taylor's management, they were waiting at the train station to criticize him./.
