Báo Tiền PhongBáo Tiền Phong02/02/2025

TPO - On February 2nd (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year 2025), traffic volume increased significantly at the gateways to the capital, especially at the exit of the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway, where a traffic jam stretched for about 3 km.

The Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police, in coordination with the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security, organized remote traffic diversion on expressways and national highways leading into Hanoi. Within the city, officers at key checkpoints, in coordination with the Transport Inspectorate, both managed and regulated traffic flow while simultaneously controlling and handling violations such as overloading passengers, drunk driving, and speeding.

The surveillance camera system is being utilized to its fullest potential, playing a crucial role in monitoring the real-time situation on roads, detecting traffic congestion and incidents early so that timely adjustments can be made, and simultaneously recording and strictly handling violations of traffic safety regulations.
