Coach Kim Sang-sik wants the Vietnam U22 team to continue improving their finishing skills ahead of the match against the Philippines.

TPO - The South Korean coach wants his players to maintain focus in preparation for the clash with the Philippines U22 in the semi-finals of the SEA Games 32.

The U22 Vietnam team needs to continue focusing, training actively, and especially improve their finishing before the match against U22 Philippines. This was shared by defender Phi Hoang during the U22 Vietnam team's training session on the afternoon of December 12th in Bangkok (Thailand). Previously, in the final match of Group B, coach Kim Sang-sik's team defeated U22 Malaysia 2-0 to secure a place in the semi-finals as group winners.

While acknowledging his players' efforts, coach Kim Sang-sik wants the entire team to remain focused because the U22 Philippines team is expected to present a significant challenge. Vietnam's opponent recently defeated the defending champions, U22 Indonesia, 1-0. Improving finishing ability is also a requirement that Coach Kim Sang-sik has set for the attacking line.

The match against the U22 Philippines will take place on December 15th. With time running out and the opponent being tough, it seems that coach Kim Sang-sik wants to make the most of the break to stabilize the tactical approach and playing style of the U22 Vietnam team. This afternoon, the South Korean coach instructed his players to return to the training ground.
