The Tien Phong Half Marathon offers runners the experience of a lush green route through the modern Van Phuc urban area (Ho Chi Minh City). With the message "Green Journey - Giving Trust, Receiving Happiness," each step is a connection with the community, spreading positive energy and inspiring a healthy lifestyle. These days, the green Van Phuc road is adorned with the vibrant red and yellow colors of hundreds of national flags fluttering in the wind. The route has become a popular destination attracting many people to visit and admire it. The surrounding landscape is decorated with greenery, flags, and colorful banners, creating an atmosphere that is both vibrant and close to nature. Residents of the Van Phuc urban area shared images of the national flag everywhere, the vibrant red and yellow of the flag fluttering brightly along the streets, igniting a sacred sense of pride in the hearts of each person.
These days, walking along the streets of Van Phuc, people feel as if they are walking through a sea of red and yellow. From December 12th to 14th, 2025, the first Tien Phong Half Marathon will take place in Van Phuc urban area – a modern urban area with integrated infrastructure and a green, clean, and safe environment. The race includes three distances: 21.1 km, 10 km, and 5 km, for both men and women. The 21.1 km distance is divided into five age groups: 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and above, providing an opportunity for runners of all ages to challenge themselves.
The Tien Phong Half Marathon was created at a time when the running movement in Vietnam was developing strongly. The Tien Phong Half Marathon 2025 has chosen Ho Chi Minh City as its starting point for an inspiring running journey, with a route passing through the dynamic and modern Van Phuc urban area. "The Green Journey - Giving Trust, Receiving Happiness" is the overarching message, connecting the joy, health, and spirit of sharing within the running community. Tomorrow, December 13th, the first Tien Phong Half Marathon - 2025 will open at Van Phuc Urban Area (Ho Chi Minh City).
