Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Official Dispatch No. 235 requesting relevant ministries, branches and units to urgently prepare for the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of large-scale and meaningful projects and works to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.
According to the report, up to now, the Ministry of Construction has received reports from 10 ministries, branches and 32 localities, of which some ministries and branches have reported but have not yet registered projects to start construction and inaugurate.
Regarding the commendation work, the Ministry of Home Affairs received a proposal from 4 Ministries (Ministry of Construction, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Finance, Government Office ) and 2 localities (Da Nang City and Cao Bang Province) requesting State-level commendation for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Promoting modern synchronous infrastructure; practicing thrift, fighting waste"; the peak emulation period "500 days and nights of emulation to complete 3,000km of expressway" and in the implementation of investment in infrastructure construction of key national projects.

The Prime Minister emphasized that this is an important political event, demonstrating the socio-economic achievements that have been made and creating new momentum and motivation for the next stage of development.
There is not much time left until December 19, while the Prime Minister noted that the required progress is very urgent, and the amount of work to be done is huge.
The Government leader requested ministries, branches and localities to continue registering additional works and projects; review procedures and conditions for inauguration and commencement according to regulations and send them to the Ministry of Construction no later than December 10.
The Ministry of Construction - the standing agency reviews the list of projects and works to ensure conditions for organizing inauguration and groundbreaking and reports to the Prime Minister before December 12.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance to preside over and work with the Ministry of Construction and relevant ministries, branches, localities and agencies to review and evaluate proposals for rewards for projects that are completed early, save budget and put into effective operation according to the provisions of law and the Government, to be completed before December 15.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to urgently review and propose rewards from the Government and the Prime Minister for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in performing the tasks of the State Steering Committee for key transport works and projects, railway projects, energy projects, etc. and implementing projects in the 2021-2025 period.
"This is a very important and urgent task that needs to be completed promptly to be recognized and honored at the ceremony," the Prime Minister requested to complete the documents before December 5.
According to the report of the Ministry of Construction, by November 30, the Ministry had compiled 232 projects and works of ministries, branches, localities, corporations and general companies in 34 provinces and cities that are eligible to start construction and inaugurate.
Of which, it is expected that 149 projects and works will be started and 83 projects will be inaugurated. The total investment of the projects and works is 1,123,700 billion VND.
The Ministry of Construction has proposed 79 online and live TV broadcasting points at large-scale, meaningful projects and works, connecting other projects and works in ministries, branches, provinces and cities. Of the 79 points, 34 are expected to have the participation of leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, Vietnam Fatherland Front, Government leaders, Ministers, and heads of ministerial-level agencies.
