The Committee for People's Aspirations and Supervision conducts training on the system for managing voters' petitions, complaints and denunciations.

On the afternoon of October 15, at the Headquarters of the National Assembly agencies (22 Hung Vuong, Hanoi), the Committee for Petitions and Supervision coordinated with relevant units to organize training on the use of the Voters' Petition Management System and Complaints and Denunciations (petition software).

In his opening speech, Deputy Chairman of the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee Hoang Anh Cong emphasized that the training was organized to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. The National Assembly is one of the first agencies to deploy applications related to digital transformation.

Introducing the People's Petition Software System, the Vice Chairman of the People's Petition and Supervision Committee said that the system was built in 2019. During the use, the software has brought good results in people's petition activities.

On that basis, the Committee for People's Aspirations and Supervision coordinated with the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ) and the National Assembly Office to upgrade the software. To date, this software platform has been basically completed.

The software currently has three basic modules: Database module for citizen reception; Database module for handling petitions, complaints and denunciations; Database module for collecting, synthesizing and monitoring the results of handling and responding to voters' petitions.

To put the software into effective use, the Committee for People's Aspirations and Supervision has issued a plan to organize training and use the software for people's aspiration work.

Accordingly, the training program sets out three basic objectives: ensuring that all relevant cadres, civil servants and public employees can directly use the software in the process of receiving and handling voters' petitions and complaints and denunciations; enhancing connectivity, consistency and transparency in the process of receiving citizens and handling petitions; receiving feedback to continue improving the software, better meeting practical requirements.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee requested that delegates attending the training seriously absorb and grasp the instructions and proactively apply the people's aspiration software in the process of performing tasks at their work units.

At the same time, it is recommended that the Department of Petitions and Supervision, together with Viettel, continue to coordinate to provide detailed and specific instructions and answer questions to help cadres have the skills to proficiently use the software.

The training program took place on October 15 and 16 with direct participants being leaders and civil servants assigned to carry out people's petition work in Departments under the Nationalities Council, Committees of the National Assembly, Government Office , Office of Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, Supreme People's Court, Supreme People's Procuracy.
