Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Deputy Secretary Bui Thang works with Cat Tien commune

Comrade Bui Thang, Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee chaired the working session with the Standing Committee of Cat Tien Commune Party Committee.

At the meeting, comrade Ho Quoc Phong, Secretary of the Cat Tien Commune Party Committee, reported on outstanding results in various fields. In 2025, the locality has synchronously led the implementation of Party building, inspection and supervision, socio-economic development tasks and natural disaster prevention. Notably, local budget revenue is estimated to reach 120% of the annual plan, contributing to creating resources for development and social security tasks in the area.

In the work of organizing cadres, the commune has promptly completed the apparatus; strictly implemented the cadre work process according to Regulation 377-QD/TW; implemented streamlining of staff and appraisal of candidates for the People's Council for the 2026-2031 term. The work of creating sources, considering awarding Party badges, reviewing and screening party members and updating party member data has been carried out fully and systematically; at the same time, preparing a plan for developing party members in 2026 and organizing reviews and evaluations of party members according to regulations.

Ms. Tran Thi The Ngoc, Chairwoman of Cat Tien Commune People's Committee, reported on the results of implementing tasks in 2025.

In the fields of propaganda, mass mobilization and internal political protection, the commune effectively implemented tasks according to Regulation 367-QD/TW; strengthened ideological orientation, grasped public opinion; innovated propaganda methods associated with the application of information technology; maintained well the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement and ethnic and religious work.

Comrade Thach Nguyen Minh Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of Cat Tien Commune Party Committee, reported on the results of implementing tasks in 2025.

Regarding the work of mass mobilization of the government, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations, the Party Committee of the commune directs the maintenance of meetings, grasps the situation; mobilizes people to carry out emulation movements, build new rural areas, maintain security and order and strengthen the great national unity bloc.

Representatives of leaders of units and departments attended the working session.

Inspection and supervision work continues to be focused on with the development of an inspection and supervision program for 2026 to ensure focus and key points. The Party Committee's Inspection Commission proactively conducts inspections when there are signs of violations, especially in areas prone to negativity and corruption; strictly handles denunciations, complaints and enforces Party discipline, preventing prolonged and complicated incidents. The locality also focuses on improving the inspection staff, improving their professional skills, mettle and public service ethics.

Comrade Tran Huu Thanh, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, spoke at the working session.

Regarding natural disaster prevention, the commune maintains a 24/7 duty, closely monitors weather developments; promptly warns villages and hamlets; mobilizes shock troops to inspect landslide areas, low-lying areas, and riverbanks; proactively prepares plans to evacuate people when necessary; implements flood control, clears traffic, and ensures people's safety. Damage statistics and support for people are carried out in accordance with regulations and in a timely manner.

Comrade Pham Ngoc An, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, spoke at the working session.

At the meeting, representatives of leaders of agencies and departments also contributed ideas, thereby helping localities to resolve difficulties and problems arising in the area.

Concluding the working session, Comrade Bui Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, highly appreciated the outstanding results of the Cat Tien Commune Party Committee, especially in Party building, inspection and supervision, natural disaster prevention and control, and exceeding the budget revenue target.
