[Video] Many bright spots in implementing 16 Resolutions of the National Assembly on thematic supervision and questioning

On the morning of December 3, at the 10th Session, the National Assembly listened to Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh report on the implementation results of 16 Resolutions on thematic supervision and questioning of the National Assembly during the 14th and 15th terms.

The report stated that key areas such as finance, banking, construction, transportation, science and technology, education , health, internal affairs, and ethnic affairs all achieved many positive results. Among them:

Finance and banking: tight control of budget estimates, bad debt handling, improved credit growth, national credit rating maintained at a positive level.
Construction and transportation: put into operation nearly 2,500 km of highways, striving to exceed 3,000 km by the end of 2025; promote social housing, urban and rural planning.
Science and technology, innovation: expand the enterprise science and technology development fund, improve the local innovation index.
Education: perfecting laws and policies for developing education and training, starting construction of 100 border boarding schools, Vietnam is among the 21 countries that will soon achieve the goal of sustainable development in education.
Health : implementing Resolutions and Directives on disease prevention and control, improving the quality of primary health care, and universal health insurance.
Internal affairs, local government: streamlining the apparatus, reducing staff, perfecting the two-level government model.
Ethnicity and National Target Program: issue many policies to support ethnic minority areas, integrate and optimize resources of national target programs for the 2026-2035 period.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the implementation of the Resolutions has created a legal foundation, promoted socio- economic development, improved management efficiency, ensured social security and people's rights, while continuing to innovate, apply technology and strengthen supervision to complete the goals assigned by the National Assembly.
