The mixed creative kata competition featured four teams: Myanmar, the Philippines, Vietnam, and host country Thailand. Despite competing against traditionally strong teams in the kata system, the Vietnamese team demonstrated superiority, performing a highly challenging kata with precise technique and uniformity in every movement. Their performance was highly praised for its smooth coordination, steady rhythm, and creative artistic expression.
