“Vietnam Happy Fest 2025” recreates “The Road of Happiness” in the heart of the capital

The overall concept of Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 is "The Road of Happiness" arranged along the streets of Le Thai To - Hang Khay - Dinh Tien Hoang - Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square. Here, people and tourists will explore 13 experience points, including: Happy Vietnam Exhibition; digital interactive space; photo booth and art exhibition; happy tree - a place to send wishes; happy prism workshop...

In this space, the cinema room “Happiness in Every Moment” brings simple and humane films about happiness: from family, work, creative passion to love of homeland. The series of images helps viewers feel that happiness is not far away but present in every moment of everyday life.

The photo exhibition "The Road to Happiness" introduces outstanding works participating in the award from 2023 to present, revolving around many slices of life such as: Going home is happiness, The happiest job, Happiness in sports, Art creates happiness...

The “Send Happiness to Tomorrow” activity encourages visitors to write down their dreams and thoughts and put them in the “Happy Vietnam” mailbox. In addition, the “Happiness Tree” will store the cards as pieces of happiness connecting the community.

80th Anniversary Symbol of “Independence – Freedom – Happiness”

One of the special highlights of the festival is the mass wedding ceremony of 80 couples with the theme “Couple Day – Love is Happiness” which will take place on December 6. Not only for young couples, the event also honors couples who have been together for decades – a beautiful symbol of strength and understanding.

The activity is meant to recreate the 80-year journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness of the Vietnamese people, with the message: The happiness of each family contributes to the happiness of the whole country.

On December 7, the Vietnamese costume parade “Bach Hoa Bi Hanh” is expected to attract about 800 participants, creating a colorful space of traditional culture in the Hoan Kiem Lake area.

Within the framework of the festival, the Organizing Committee will present the Human Rights Media Award: “Happy Vietnam – Happy Vietnam 2025”, to honor press and media works that spread humanistic values.

Music nights will also be held, with the participation of many young artists such as Bui Cong Nam, Lam Bao Ngoc, Erik...

In addition, the “Happiness Prism” area is a gathering place for domestic and foreign photographers, with creative activities such as taking photos, filming videos , drawing, etc. “Sculpting Happiness” is designed as a journey of self-discovery, where each person creates works from their own emotions and perspectives.

An activity with profound humanitarian meaning is “Sharing Blood Drops” – a humanitarian blood donation program, spreading the message of happiness from giving.

Vietnam ranked 46th in the global happiness rankings.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), said that this year's event is expected to attract 200,000 - 300,000 people and tourists to attend directly and millions of interactions in the digital environment.

Work: "Sweet Happiness" by author Vu Dieu Hoa won the Gold Medal at Happy Vietnam 2024.

In 2025, Vietnam will move up 8 places to rank 46th in the world in the global happiness rankings. This figure reflects improvements in social life, people-oriented policies and the aspiration to build a fair, prosperous and humane country.

“The organizers hope that Vietnam Happy Fest will become an annual cultural landmark, making Vietnam a destination of peace and humanity in the eyes of international friends,” Mr. Pham Anh Tuan shared.

Previously, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 4214/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing Vietnam Happy Fest 2025, scheduled to be held annually in December.

With a series of diverse, creative and engaging activities, Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 is not only a festival of fun but also a journey to discover art, culture and the beautiful values of life.

Happiness – sometimes so simple, felt, recorded, shared and spread through every small activity in the event. That is also the message that the festival wants to send to everyone: “Happiness is right around us, in every moment”.
