VHO - From today, December 5 to December 7, at Hoan Kiem Lake walking street (Hanoi), Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 will take place. This activity is chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 will take place from December 5 to 17 in Hanoi.

The year 2025 marks the first time that Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 will be organized as a series of continuous activities. The transition to a series of activities will help the Festival tell a more complete story about “Vietnamese happiness” through many different spaces, experiences and interactive activities.

Amidst the poetic space of Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, the Festival will be a place where every citizen and every tourist can walk, touch and feel happiness in every moment.

Emphasizing the significance of the Festival, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh affirmed that the Festival will be a series of activities describing stories of happiness, spreading a positive spirit to the world that Vietnam is a happy country and Vietnamese people are always optimistic because of that. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to convey the message that all Vietnamese people are aware of their happiness; as well as the way to reach true happiness.

The festival is designed with many new highlights, creating a cultural space rich in emotions and deeper connections. Stretching from Le Thai To Street to Hang Khay Street through Dinh Tien Hoang Street and ending at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, the journey "The Road of Happiness" opens like a flow of emotions, where every step is a story, every small corner is a miracle of Vietnamese life today.

The highlight of this year's Festival is a special symbolic activity: A mass wedding ceremony for 80 couples, associated with the country's 80-year journey of independence - freedom - happiness, thereby spreading the image of a compassionate, connected and community-rich Vietnam. 80 love stories, 80 journeys of happiness, holding hands to enter a common wedding ceremony, where hearts blend with the joy of the nation.

This is not just a wedding ceremony, but a symbol of faith, peace and the desire for love of an independent - free - happy Vietnam. The Happiness Tree becomes one of the most sacred places of the event. Under the tree, thousands of wishes, messages and gratitude are hung like "seeds of happiness". Each card is a beautiful wish for family, homeland and future.

In addition, the profound and urgent humanistic highlight within the framework of the event is the activity of Supporting Love: Sharing Happiness. This is not only an act of donation, but also a call from the heart of the whole nation, towards the people of the Central region who are struggling with natural disasters. In each activity, the program also sends to the Central region the message of sharing and supporting each other to overcome difficulties.

According to the Organizing Committee, Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 will not only be a cultural and artistic festival, but also an affirmation that Vietnam's happiness is built from peace , love, solidarity and the simplest things.

Throughout the program, the art space, music and interactive activities are also enhanced to help people and visitors feel happiness in many dimensions, from melodies, everyday stories to moments of sharing and spreading positive energy.

Talking to Culture, Director of the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that the Festival is not only a cultural and entertainment event, but also an opportunity to emphasize human values, love, sharing and spreading the spirit of happiness, with the desire to make the capital Hanoi (Vietnam) become a "happy destination".

Therefore, the message of the Festival is the spirit of peace and community cohesion, which has been fostered by policies and strategies to care for the people and foster a stable and humane society. These values ​​help the world see a happy Vietnam, and more importantly, help those who come to the Festival feel and experience that happiness directly. Through the Festival, the world will see a happy, peaceful and optimistic Vietnam.

Taking place over three days in the Hoan Kiem Lake area, the event is expected to lead to the organization of the annual Vietnam Happy Day Festival, a new cultural landmark, making Vietnam a destination of peace, happiness and humanity in the eyes of international friends.
