The Brand Strength Index (BSI) is determined based on survey results, analysis and evaluation of attributes including customer feelings about the brand (awareness, love...) and customer behavior with the brand (using products and services, willing to recommend to others, willing to pay high prices...).
This is the most important factor creating Viettel 's brand value of approximately 9 billion USD, maintaining its position as the number 1 telecommunications brand in Southeast Asia, ranking 9th in Asia and rising one rank in the world to 16th.
Explaining the reason for Viettel's remarkable increase in BSI, Mr. Alex Haigh, CEO of Brand Finance Asia - Pacific, commented: "This comes from Viettel's strong commitments to digital transformation and sustainable development, helping to increase customers' perceived value of innovation, environmental and community indicators in the Vietnamese market."

In addition, in 2023, Viettel will develop a Sustainable Development report with the theme "Technology with heart", focusing on 6 key areas: High-quality human resources, Building a digital society, Information security, Climate change/Reducing greenhouse gas emissions, Smart green data center, Transparent and responsible governance./.
