Honoring 20 outstanding examples of 'beautiful living' youth nationwide in 2025

(Chinhphu.vn) - The "Youth Live Beautifully" Award honors stories of kindness, brave actions, and community initiatives that take place every day, every hour in every region of the country in every area of ​​life.

Initiated in 2017, the "Youth with a Beautiful Life" award is a noble award of the Vietnam Youth Union to honor outstanding young people with jobs, noble and humane actions, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, sharing difficulties with the community and society; commend exemplary young people who obey the law, live a cultured and loyal life, and are role models and motivations for young people and the community to learn and follow.

This is a practical activity to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; continue to concretize the movement "I love my Fatherland" through specific actions and deeds of young people in various fields towards society and the community, thereby building a generation of young people who live beautifully and usefully.

After 8 years of implementation, the "Youth Living Well" award has honored 192 young people with outstanding achievements, the most typical; are shining examples in the fields of: study, labor, production, business; volunteering; national defense, security; science and technology; environmental protection; culture, arts; health ; sports; social work; charity; community development...

"Living beautifully" is a value that has no limits in space and time.

Speaking at the press conference to introduce the Journey and the Award Ceremony of "Youth Living Well" in 2025 on July 4, comrade Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Youth Union of Vietnam, said that as a broad social organization with the role of uniting and gathering all classes of Vietnamese youth, the Vietnam Youth Union has strengthened the organization of programs, movement activities, and political activities to strongly arouse the spirit of patriotism, awareness, national spirit, spirit of self-reliance, confidence, self-reliance, national pride, and the aspiration to develop the country of Vietnamese youth.

Many programs and awards with profound humanistic meanings are held regularly and widely to spread values ​​and motivations for good, useful, responsible and sharing lives among young people.

In particular, the "Youth Living Beautifully" Award is an award organized by the Central Association to honor outstanding youths with jobs, noble and humane actions, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, and sharing difficulties with the community and society.

According to Mr. Lam, in 2024, we have witnessed and been inspired by 20 extraordinary stories of beautiful lives. That is the kindness of nurse Dang Thi Ha, who worked day and night on the front line to save the lives of patients at the Emergency Center of Bach Mai Hospital.

It is the green shirt of the young people in the "Green Saigon" club led by Nguyen Luong Ngoc, who are not afraid of hardship and dirt, returning the green color to the canals and street corners. It is also the silent sacrifice of the border guard Ly Van Vu, who holds his gun firmly at the border of the Fatherland, keeping the country peaceful.

These examples have shown that "living beautifully" is a value that has no limits in space, time or field. In the digital age, patriotism and the desire to contribute are not only expressed at the border, but also in each startup project, each musical note that spreads humanistic values.

"We are proud to honor a young technology entrepreneur like Le Yen Thanh, who is contributing to affirming the position of Vietnamese intelligence on the global technology map. We are also proud to honor a young artist like Rapper Double2T, who used his own music to carry out the project "Stealing the Sun", bringing electricity to the villages with many difficulties.

They are the most vivid proof that Vietnamese youth today are inheriting the nation's good traditional values ​​and enriching those values ​​with knowledge, creativity and the spirit of integration of the new era," said Mr. Lam.

Commendation of young people with outstanding achievements

Continuing the success of the previous 8 times, this year the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union continues to coordinate with TCP Vietnam Company Limited to continue organizing the Journey and Award Ceremony of "Youth Living Well" in 2025.

Participants are members and Vietnamese youth at home and abroad, aged from 16 to no more than 30 years old; full-time and part-time officials of the Vietnam Youth Union, aged from 23 to 35 years old, in special cases, not older than 40 years old (to be considered and decided by the Council).

Individuals who have received awards in previous years will continue to be considered for the award if their nomination documents meet the prescribed standards. Individuals are awarded special and extraordinary awards due to their achievements and activities recognized by agencies, organizations, and society, leaving their mark on youth, people, media agencies, and the press.

This year’s award will honor 20 outstanding young people in various fields. The individuals receiving the “Youth with Beautiful Lives” award are those who have beautiful actions, creating a ripple effect and transmitting positive energy to society, especially young people.

Each award-winning individual will receive a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the program's logo and a prize worth 10 million VND. Individuals who are not selected by the Council, the Standing Agency authorizes the units to proactively introduce appropriate forms of commendation and reward.
