Taking place from October 8-12, the 6th Journalism Festival - 2024 organized by the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center is an annual professional activity; it has an important meaning in assessing professional quality and honoring the creative achievements of journalists in the province.

This year's Quang Ninh Provincial Press Festival takes place in the context of the final year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 15th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress. This is also the end of the year with the sprint to carry out political tasks of all levels, sectors and localities in the whole province continuing to develop rapidly and steadily.
At this year's festival, there were 212 press works in various forms: radio, television, print, electronic newspapers from 28 localities, units, sectors, and professional departments of the Center that invested in and sent to participate. These are good, typical press works, many of which were carefully invested, contributing to the success of this year's festival.
According to the Jury's assessment, the entries closely followed the mainstream news, had high journalistic value, and clearly reflected the working reality in localities and units.

In particular, with the advancement of science and technology, each year the professional festival witnesses changes in production technology. Many new and modern ways of making newspapers, such as: E-magazine in the electronic newspaper category; graphic effects in the television category; live interactive radio broadcasting via mobile devices and social networks... are applied, bringing a new look to the works, making the information content lively and attracting audiences, listeners and readers.
With the spirit of urgent, serious and responsible work, the Organizing Committee of the 6th Journalism Festival - 2024 has selected to award 83 prizes including: 19 Gold prizes, 27 Silver prizes and 37 Bronze prizes for the following types of journalism: Radio, Television, Print Newspaper, Electronic Newspaper and press photo works.
Also within the framework of the Festival, a workshop took place "Improving the quality of journalistic works - Looking from the experience of VTV and VOV"...
