Chau Phong Commune dialogues with the people

On the morning of November 5, Chau Phong Commune Party Committee (An Giang province) organized a dialogue conference between the heads of the Party Committee, government and the people.

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Thanh Lam, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Council; People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Phong Commune, and representatives of the People of 4 hamlets: Hoa Thanh, Chau Giang, Hoa Long and Vinh Tuong 1.

Chairman of Chau Phong Commune People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Minh received and explained people's opinions.

At the dialogue session, Chau Phong Commune People's Committee reported a summary of the socio -economic, defense and security situation in the first 9 months and key tasks for the last months of 2025.

In a democratic and open atmosphere, people raised 11 opinions related to 39 contents, such as: New rural construction, rural transportation, environmental sanitation, public lighting, security and order situation and the problem of distributing leaflets for loaning money. People reflected on the situation of thieves and cutting of electric wires of the lighting system on the Chau Doc bridge approach road, making travel difficult.

The opinions were directly explained and received by the commune leaders, and assigned to the relevant agencies for research and handling.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Lam, Party Secretary, Chairman of Chau Phong Commune People's Council concluded the conference.

Concluding the conference, Party Secretary and Chairman of Chau Phong Commune People's Council Nguyen Thanh Lam affirmed that the dialogue is an opportunity for the Party Committee and the government to be close to the people, understand the people, promptly resolve difficulties and problems at the grassroots level, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the Party and the government. He directed the relevant agencies to quickly receive and resolve the issues raised by the people.
