Lung Nam commune reduces poverty by 130 households - Cao Bang Online Newspaper

The People's Committee of Lung Nam commune has completed the survey and review of poor and near-poor households in 2025 according to Plan 2578/KH-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee. The review work was implemented synchronously, ensuring the correct procedures and timeframe.

The team responsible for reviewing poor and near-poor households in Lung Nam commune is conducting investigations and reviews of poor and near-poor households at the household level.

Lung Nam commune has 27 hamlets, 1,475 households comprising 7,149 people; many hamlets are located in remote areas with difficult socio -economic conditions.

The commune established 27 review teams (each with 5 members). As a result, the commune has 565 poor households, a decrease of 130 households compared to 2024; and 217 near-poor households, accounting for 10.54%. The review work was implemented synchronously in all hamlets, ensuring accuracy and objectivity.

The review results will serve as the basis for the commune to develop a poverty reduction support plan for 2026, continue implementing solutions to develop production, improve people's lives, and aim for sustainable poverty reduction.
