Tan Bien Commune gives charity houses, scholarships and gifts to poor and orphaned students

On September 4, at the Military Command of Tan Bien Commune, Tay Ninh Province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Fund for Supporting Education and Sports Talents to organize the 8th "Wings for the Future" program, presenting many meaningful gifts to students in difficult circumstances.

Leaders of Tan Bien commune and the Ho Chi Minh City School Sports Talent and Education Support Fund presented gifts to students.

Attending were Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ha Van Dong commune; leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune; leaders of the Fund for Supporting Education and Sports Talents of Ho Chi Minh City Schools.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 25 Huynh Van Mot scholarships, each worth 1.5 million VND; 26 gifts including food and necessities, worth 500,000 VND/gift.

Leaders of Hong Loi Nam Company Limited and Tan Bien Farmers Association presented a symbol worth 70 million VND to Kim Phuong Anh.

In particular, a charity house worth 70 million VND was given to Kim Phuong Anh, a student with extremely difficult circumstances in Tan Bien commune. Of which, Hong Loi Nam Company Limited supported 50 million VND, the Commune Farmers' Association mobilized a counterpart of 20 million VND. The total value of the gift and house was 139 million VND, supported by Hong Loi Nam Company Limited.

The program also included a communication session on “Skills to prevent human trafficking” directly shared by Ms. Le Thi Kim Trinh – Deputy Head of the Fund’s Communications Department, helping students identify risks and improve their self-protection skills./.
