The match for the top spot in Group B of the VTV Cup 2025 International Women's Volleyball Tournament between Korabelka Club (Russia) and Taiwan was a thrilling back-and-forth affair. The class of the defending champions Korabelka was demonstrated at a crucial moment, helping them secure a 3-1 victory (30/28, 24/26, 25/22, 25/17) against Taiwan.

Winning all three matches gave Korabelka Club 8 points and a place in the quarterfinals as the top team in Group B. Taiwan (6 points) finished second, Thailand U.21 (4 points) finished third, and Vietnam U.21 (0 points) finished last in Group B.
In Group A, the Philippines team, after defeating Sichuan Club (China), went on to beat Australia (3-0) to advance to the quarterfinals as group runners-up. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team, fielding a reserve lineup, still secured a 3-0 victory against Sichuan Club in their final match. With three wins out of three, Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team earned 9 points and advanced to the quarterfinals as group winners. Sichuan Club (3 points) finished third, and Australia (0 points) finished last in Group A.

The Vietnam U.21 team will face the senior Vietnam national team in the quarterfinals of the VTV Cup 2025 International Women's Volleyball Tournament.

The ticket to the semi-finals is wide open for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
Thus, the VTV Cup 2025 International Women's Volleyball Tournament has officially determined the four quarter-final matches taking place on July 3rd. In quarter-final 1, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team (first in Group A) will face the Vietnamese U.21 team (fourth in Group B). Quarter-final 2 will be a clash between Taiwan (second in Group B) and Sichuan Club (third in Group A). Quarter-final 3 will be between Korabelka Club (first in Group B) and Australia (fourth in Group A), and quarter-final 4 will be a match between the Philippines (second in Group A) and Thailand U.21 team (third in Group B).
Of the four quarterfinal matches mentioned above in the VTV Cup 2025 International Women's Volleyball Tournament, two are considered to be one-sided: the match between the Vietnamese women's national volleyball team and the Vietnamese U.21 team, and the match between Korabelka and the Australian team. Unless there are major surprises, the Vietnamese team and Korabelka will win and advance to the semi-finals. The remaining two matches, between Taiwan and Sichuan Club, and the Philippines and the Thai U.21 team, are considered to be evenly matched and exciting.
