The largest industrial park in Lang Son border province

VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park Project (VSIP Industrial Park) is located in a prime location, close to the Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway, National Highway 1A with a scale of about 600 hectares located in Ho Son and Hoa Thang communes (Huu Lung, Lang Son).

This is the largest Industrial Park in Lang Son province with a total investment of more than 6,361 billion VND, the investor is Vietnam Singapore Urban and Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company.

Machinery is mobilized to the VSIP Industrial Park project site.

The project started in June 2024, and is planned to be divided into 3 phases. Phase 1 will be completed and put into operation in the third quarter of 2025, phase 2 will be completed in September 2026, and phase 3 will be completed in September 2027.

After completing all 3 phases, VSIP Industrial Park is expected to earn about 2.5 billion USD for the state budget and create jobs for over 40,000 workers.

According to PV's records at the beginning of August 2024, inside VSIP Industrial Park, leveling, creating a surface, and taking soil from high positions to fill in low positions are being carried out.

Outside, the 193 billion VND road connecting the Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway intersection is basically completed, the road surface is paved with asphalt, and the street lighting infrastructure system is gradually being completed.

The project of the access road from Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway to VSIP Industrial Park with 4.5km long connecting branch roads to the expressway has been basically completed.

Workers and machines are installing highway barriers to ensure safety for people and vehicles. The road connecting to VSIP Industrial Park is expected to be put into use in 2025.

Talking to reporters, Ms. Duong Thi Hanh - Vice Chairman of Huu Lung District People's Committee assessed that VSIP Industrial Park is one of the province's key projects. The project has just started construction and is in the process of leveling.

The industrial park will help increase the value of industrial production and export of goods in the province. At the same time, it will create jobs and income for local workers, thereby helping the province develop its economy quickly and sustainably.

Industrial cluster creates jobs for thousands of workers

Located not far from VSIP Industrial Park is the Ho Son 1 Industrial Cluster project with a total investment of over 814 billion VND. This is also one of the largest industrial clusters in Lang Son province.

Started in May 2024, the project covers an area of 73.76 hectares located in Cai Kinh and Ho Son communes, Huu Lung district.

At the construction site, workers and machines were mobilized to level and clear the ground.

Ho Son 1 Industrial Cluster Project is under urgent construction.

The project, once completed and put into operation, will create land for concentrated industrial production, attracting investors.

At the same time, it creates jobs for about 6,500 local workers, contributing to increasing income, stabilizing life, and promoting socio-economy.

Up to now, Lang Son province has established 9 industrial clusters, with a total area of about 373 hectares and 2 industrial parks.

In Resolution No. 455 on industrial development of Lang Son province, the goal by 2025 is to complete technical infrastructure and put into operation at least 1 industrial park and 3-4 industrial clusters with an occupancy rate of over 30%.

By 2030, strive for each district to invest in at least one industrial cluster to come into operation, with the occupancy rate of each cluster reaching over 50%.
