Building an advanced Vietnamese culture, imbued with national identity, becoming an endogenous force for national development.

Speaking at the workshop, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that, implementing the direction of the Politburo and the Government Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has developed a project on culture and international cultural integration to affirm and promote the role and contribution of the internationalization of Vietnamese culture and the Vietnamization of international culture to truly become a source of breakthrough momentum, contributing increasingly deeply and effectively to the country's development in the new era.

The project aims to realize the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country, build an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity, become an endogenous force for rapid and sustainable national development, enhance the position in the international arena, and actively contribute to Vietnam's important role and position in human civilization.

In the process of cultural integration, Vietnam continues to selectively absorb the quintessence of human culture, build an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity, contribute to creating a peaceful environment and take advantage of favorable international conditions to promote sustainable economic - cultural - social development, creating favorable conditions for the country's international integration.

The process of cooperation and exchange between Vietnamese culture and world culture and vice versa will actively complement each other, thereby strongly arousing patriotism, national self-reliance, the strength of great national unity and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country, contributing significantly to the combined strength of the entire political system, enhancing soft power, the country's position in the international arena, creating a peaceful environment, and firmly protecting the Fatherland.

Based on the objectives and viewpoints set out in the project, delegates focused on analyzing and clarifying the approach to determining the core values ​​of national culture, and selectively absorbing the quintessence of world culture to have a real and effective exchange and interaction between cultures.

The project has the following parts: basis for project development; context, opportunities and challenges; viewpoints, goals and tasks of internationalizing Vietnamese culture and Vietnamizing international culture until 2035 and vision to 2045; solutions and implementation organization.

At the end of the workshop, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism acknowledged and accepted the delegates' comments to complete the project to ensure the set criteria.
