The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said that the export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in November is estimated at 5.8 billion USD, down 3.7% compared to the previous month but up 8.4% compared to the same period last year. Through 11 months of 2025, the total export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products is estimated at 64.01 billion USD, up 12.6% over the same period last year. Thus, the export of agricultural, forestry and fishery products up to this point has exceeded the record figure of 2024 (62.4 billion USD).

Of which, the export value of agricultural products reached 34.24 billion USD, up 15%; livestock products reached 567.4 million USD, up 16.8%; aquatic products reached 10.38 billion USD, up 13.2%; forestry products reached 16.61 billion USD, up 5.9%...

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment also said that Vietnam's import turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in November 2025 is estimated at 3.92 billion USD, down 3.2% compared to the previous month and down 2.9% compared to the same period last year. In the first 11 months of 2025, the total import turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products is estimated at 44.45 billion USD, up 10.1% over the same period last year.

The trade balance of agriculture, forestry and fishery in November 2025 is estimated at 1.88 billion USD, down 4.7% compared to the previous month but up 43.3% over the same period last year. In the 11 months of 2025, Vietnam's trade surplus of agriculture, forestry and fishery is estimated at 19.55 billion USD, up 19% over the same period last year.

Regarding specific items, agricultural products have shown positive growth trends, with coffee, vegetables, cashew nuts and pepper all recording significant expansion in export value. Coffee led the way with a very strong increase in both volume and value, while the average export price also increased by nearly 40%, reflecting increased demand in the world market.

Total coffee export volume and value in the first 11 months of 2025 reached 1.4 million tons with 7.88 billion USD, up 14.1% in volume and 59.7% in value over the same period last year.

The average export price of coffee reached 5,667.6 USD/ton, up 39.9% over the same period last year. Germany, Italy and Spain are the three largest coffee consuming markets of Vietnam, accounting for 13.3%, 7.8% and 7.4% market shares respectively. Among the 15 largest export markets, the coffee export value increased the most in the Mexican market with an increase of 26.1 times and decreased the most in the Indonesian market with a decrease of 8.9%.

Fruits and vegetables continued to maintain a steady growth momentum, with export value increasing by nearly 20% thanks to strong demand from the Chinese market and expansion in the United States. The export value of fruits and vegetables in the first 11 months reached 7.91 billion USD, up 19.5% over the same period last year.

Cashew nuts also grew impressively with value increasing by nearly 20% despite a slight increase in output, showing that price increases were the main factor driving turnover. Total export volume and value of cashew nuts reached 698,100 tons with 4.76 billion USD.

Similarly, pepper, although its export volume decreased, had the strongest increase in export price among all commodities, helping its value increase by more than 23%. The export turnover of this commodity reached 1.5 billion USD after 11 months.

In general, these products benefit from rising international prices and stable or expanding import demand in major markets, thereby creating a trend of even and prominent growth in the structure of Vietnam's agricultural exports.

However, many agricultural products such as rice, tea and rubber have recorded a significant decline in export volume and value. Rice has seen the sharpest decline as both output, value and especially export price have plummeted, showing competitive pressure and fluctuations in world prices. Total rice export volume and value reached 7.5 million tons and 3.83 billion USD, down 11.5% in volume and 27.7% in value compared to the same period last year.

Tea also declined evenly in both volume and value, reflecting the lack of strong recovery in demand in traditional markets. Rubber continued to maintain a downward trend as export volume decreased by nearly 7% and value also decreased despite a slight increase in average price, indicating a narrowing of demand in some major markets. In 11 months, rubber exports reached 1.7 million tons with 2.89 billion USD.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said that the industry continues to promote the development of the domestic market and exports. In particular, it is effective in implementing the plan to promote agricultural, forestry and fishery exports by 2025 to reach about 70 billion USD. In response to the US imposition of reciprocal tariffs, the industry also implemented actions to adapt to new tariffs with groups of solutions on markets, science and technology, policies, economic diplomacy, and industry chains; increased support for businesses to open markets, increase imports and exports, especially with the US.
