Over 527,000 comments on the draft documents of the 14th Congress were received through the Fatherland Front system.

According to the report, recently, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has directed the entire system to promote communication on collecting people's opinions on the draft document. From the electronic information portal, fanpage to the press agencies of the Front and member organizations, all have opened comment columns, organized forums, published analysis, interviews, and recorded opinions from many perspectives.

This synchronous activity has created a strong spread, helping people understand the new points of the Document, grasp the development thinking and vision of the Party; thereby actively participating in contributing to completing the draft.

According to statistics from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, up to now, there have been 527,764 comments on the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party through the Front system.

Of the total of more than half a million opinions, 417,338 direct opinions were collected at 28,497 conferences, seminars, and forums; and 109,757 written opinions through the mail and newspaper system.

The report stated that there were 226,624 general opinions expressing consensus and excitement about the content of the draft documents. Many opinions assessed that the draft was carefully prepared, clearly structured, accurately reflecting the country's development practices over nearly 40 years of renovation; at the same time demonstrating the Party's new vision and new thinking in leading the country's development.

Accordingly, regarding the theme of the Congress, opinions unanimously agreed that the theme is broad and general, clearly demonstrating the wisdom, vision, goals and political determination of the entire Party, people and army in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. The theme also affirms the steadfast will and aspiration to develop a prosperous, happy country and steadfastly step onto the path of socialism in the new era.

Regarding the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party, opinions said that the draft Political Report clearly demonstrates the strategic vision, consistent viewpoint and high political determination in building and developing the country in the new period, inheriting the great achievements after nearly 40 years of innovation; goals, tasks and breakthrough solutions for the coming period.

In particular, the integration of the contents of three draft documents (draft Political Report, draft Socio -Economic Report and draft Party Building Report) into the draft Political Report has demonstrated a comprehensive and consistent thinking, both comprehensive and specific, easy to understand, easy to remember and easy to implement. The highlight is that the draft has concretized the major orientations into groups of tasks, clear solutions and specific action programs, demonstrating determination in direction and management.

Regarding the draft Report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam, opinions said that the draft Document comprehensively and deeply reflects the 40-year process of national renovation, clearly demonstrating the stature, intelligence and mettle of the Party.

The report correctly, objectively and comprehensively assesses the international, regional and domestic context, and the statement that "Our Party promptly grasps, flexibly handles, takes advantage of opportunities, and overcomes challenges" is completely reasonable. The report correctly recognizes the role of the socialist-oriented market economy, promotes sustainable development, growth coupled with social equity; at the same time, frankly points out existing problems such as the gap between rich and poor, corruption, moral degradation, and waste of resources.

Regarding the draft Report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011 - 2025) and proposals and directions for supplementing and amending the Party Charter, opinions agreed with the assessment in the draft Report and affirmed that the draft Report relatively comprehensively reflected the results of 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011 - 2025).

Five groups of recommendations and proposals

From the feedback channels, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front proposed 5 groups of key recommendations to send to the Document Subcommittee of the 14th National Party Congress:

First, streamline the apparatus and improve the efficiency of the grassroots political system.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front proposed issuing a thematic resolution on streamlining the apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system; and innovating the Party's leadership method towards being close to the people, listening to the people, and for the people's interests.

Second, promote digital transformation and decentralization for large cities.

It is recommended to continue building digital government, improving the quality of service to the people; at the same time, expanding the autonomy and decentralization mechanism for large cities to promote growth momentum.

Third, clearly affirm the special role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front proposed: Adding content on the core political role of the Front; Issuing a thematic resolution on Front work in the new period; Institutionalizing the "two-way policy feedback" mechanism of the Front - State - People; Elevating People - Government forums and Party - People dialogues into regular institutions.

Fourth, prioritize resources for environment, education , and health.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front proposed focusing on investment in responding to climate change, preventing natural disasters, especially landslides, floods, and rising sea levels; considering using a unified set of textbooks, continuing to innovate the program towards practical learning - practice, developing critical thinking, digital skills, and creativity; perfecting policies so that people can fully access benefits when participating in health insurance; expanding basic and specialized health services.

Fifth, attract international intellectuals and experts.

The report recommends adding to the Orientation Document to attract foreign intellectuals and scientists to participate in research, consulting, and training in Vietnam; streamlining administrative procedures; having special mechanisms for outstanding experts; and building a global Vietnamese knowledge network.

With more than 527,000 contributions, the large-scale political activity within the Vietnam Fatherland Front system demonstrates the sense of responsibility and aspiration to build and develop the country of the People. The compiled recommendations not only reflect collective wisdom, but also serve as an important basis for continuing to perfect the draft documents, preparing for the success of the 14th National Party Congress.
