According to VTC News, in August 2020, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province approved the task of adjusting the detailed construction planning (1/500) of Yen Ha My urban area in Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc new urban area, Dien Duong ward, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province. The investor is Yen Ha My Company Limited.
The project has a scale of 4.6 hectares with a total of 137 plots of land, including 46 villas and 91 adjacent plots of land, with a population of 370 - 600 people.
The project started construction in April 2022 and is expected to be completed in October 2022. After that, the investor requested an extension and the People's Committee of Quang Nam province agreed to adjust the progress, by the end of December 2023, the entire project will be completed, accepted and put into operation.
However, by early December 2023 - 20 months after construction and 1 month before the acceptance date, this Co Co riverside urban area project still has only a few unfinished construction items.
The whole area is still a mess with piles of sand for leveling the ground and some unfinished construction items.
The foundation is bare with rusty iron bars.
According to local residents, after a period of construction, in recent months, the urban area project has been in a "frozen" state.
With this progress, the day when households move to Yen Ha My urban area will certainly not take place on the "fixed" time of the Provincial People's Committee.
