According to information from the Organizing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, as of February 7, 12 leaders under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee have applied for early retirement. These are people holding key leadership positions at the provincial and district levels, with less than 10 years of remaining service.
In the list of leaders who applied for early retirement, there are 5 people holding provincial-level positions. Notably, there are 2 Provincial Party Committee members: Mr. Nguyen Hue - Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Quang Binh province; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc of Agencies of Quang Binh province.
In addition, there are 4 people who are deputy provincial level and 3 people who are members of the Standing Committee at district level. These people all have less than 10 years of working time left.
According to the Organizing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, the early retirement of 12 key officials in this locality is considered to be in line with the trend of administrative reform, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency in state management activities; implementing the spirit of the policy of arranging and streamlining the political system in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee.
