Taiwan's Ministry of Labor has asked Taiwanese brokerage companies and employers to stabilize workers' living conditions, and instructed brokerage companies to assist workers in changing employers if necessary.

The Vietnamese Labor Management Board in Taiwan is continuing to coordinate with Taiwanese authorities, employers and Taiwanese human resource brokerage companies to grasp the situation of workers working at the factory, while protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

Previously, on September 22, after the fire broke out, the Vietnamese Labor Management Board in Taiwan proactively coordinated with local authorities, employers and human resource brokerage companies to verify information about Vietnamese workers working at the factory.

This factory currently has 106 Vietnamese workers working for two Taiwanese brokerage companies: Wan Thong Human Resources Consulting Company - Tainan branch (receiving 22 workers) and Hao Vinh International Human Resources Company (receiving 84 workers).

Authorities have identified 6 deaths (including 3 firefighters and 3 staff), 98 injuries, and 5 missing people.
