DNO - On the night of November 2, continuous heavy rain and rapidly rising water caused 6 houses in Thang Dien commune to be flooded, leading to collapsed foundations and cracked walls.

Specifically, in group 6 (Tu Son village), 4 houses had collapsed foundations, cracked houses over 70% and 1 house had collapsed foundations 50%; in Tu Nghia village, 1 house in group 11 had collapsed foundations, collapsed walls over 70%; fortunately, there were no injuries.

Currently, at the houses with collapsed foundations, the authorities and surrounding people are transporting and collecting many sandbags to block the flow and temporarily protect these houses.

In addition, some excavators were also mobilized to clear the flow, fill the soil, and limit further erosion.

On the morning of November 3, the functional forces of Thang Dien commune approached 5/6 houses with collapsed foundations and cracked walls. The commune leaders encouraged the households to quickly overcome the difficulties; at the same time, they asked them to move out of their houses, to avoid danger and ensure safety. For those in difficult situations who do not have a place to stay, they should promptly move to the commune's gathering points to avoid heavy rain and storm No. 13.
