Agribank awards 1 billion VND to the Vietnam National Football Team.

On January 1, 2025, the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Bank ( Agribank ) awarded the Vietnam National Football Team 1 billion VND for their achievement in reaching the final of the 2024 Southeast Asian Football Championship.

At the 2024 Southeast Asian Football Championship, the Vietnam National Football Team had a convincing journey, showcasing unity, perseverance, consistent performance from the entire team, and outstanding individual talent. In the group stage matches, their resilience and composure helped the Vietnamese team perform excellently, remaining undefeated and securing a place in the semi-finals as group winners. In the semi-finals, the Vietnamese team easily defeated Singapore with a total score of 5-1 over two legs, officially securing their place in the final.
