Nguyen Viet Thanh is the first person to receive a ticket to the final round of Road to Olympia 2023 when he won the first quarter competition with a score of 325.

Viet Thanh's feelings before the final match of the year were: "I feel very happy and proud. At the quarter-final, I once said: "Soc Son not only has the legend of Thanh Giong, Noi Bai airport, but will also have a television bridge". And that has come true when the live television bridge of the final match of the year Road to Olympia 2023 has returned to Soc Son High School. I hope that I will achieve my best performance in the final match".

According to Viet Thanh, Road to Olympia is a competition that requires knowledge in many fields. Therefore, every day, this young man still regularly searches and memorizes diverse knowledge to have the most confidence in the final match. At the same time, he connects with the community of former contestants of the competition in previous years to learn from experience and competitive spirit.

When asked about his strengths, the Hanoian said he was confident in questions about history and social knowledge. "Those strengths have been brought into play a lot in the weekly, monthly and quarterly competitions. And I hope I will continue to do well in the competition on October 8," Viet Thanh shared.

This is the second time students from Soc Son High School have been present at the final round of Road to Olympia. In 2017, Ha Viet Hoang won 3rd prize.

Nguyen Minh Triet is the second contestant to receive a ticket to the final round of Road to Olympia 2023.

Before the final match of the year, Minh Triet shared: "I am very proud to be the sixth person to bring the live broadcast of the Road to Olympia final to my home province."

According to Minh Triet, he feels confident with questions in the fields of: sports, art, music, physics and social knowledge. "If there are these questions in the final match, I hope I will not miss the opportunity to score points. Besides, I will try my best to answer correctly the questions in other fields," the male student said.

Nguyen Minh Triet hopes not to miss the opportunity to score points in questions in the fields of sports, art, music, physics and social knowledge.

Minh Triet said he liked the warm-up part the most. "I hope I continue to perform well in the warm-up part, to build confidence for the next parts so I can win the laurel wreath."

Minh Triet added: "Recently, I have watched many final matches of the Road to Olympia to learn from the experiences of my seniors. I also review old knowledge and regularly read books and newspapers to update and supplement new issues."

In addition, in his free time, the Hue boy also tries to practice skills such as keyboard typing, mouse clicking, etc. to complete the final match smoothly and without making mistakes.

Will play a great match

Le Xuan Manh shared: "Being able to participate in the final match was a surprise to me. When I registered for the competition, I thought it would be difficult for me to win. But then, it was my efforts and luck that helped me overcome the weekly, monthly and quarterly matches. Currently, I have mentally prepared for the yearly final match. I hope that luck will accompany me again."

Xuan Manh said he felt confident in questions about history, literature, and social knowledge. "I think my weakness is that I lack confidence, so sometimes I lose my composure when competing. In addition, I also get stuck in chemistry and English questions. I have been trying to overcome that weakness to do well in the finals," Xuan Manh shared.

Xuan Manh hopes luck will accompany him in the final match.

In the competitions, Xuan Manh said he liked the acceleration the most. "That was the competition where I got the highest score in the previous 3 competitions (weekly, monthly, quarterly - PV). If I can maintain that form in the competition this year, I can achieve high scores," Xuan Manh said and added: "No matter what the upcoming results are, Road to Olympia 2023 will be an unforgettable memory for me. I believe that I will be highly determined to compete well, leaving an impression on the audience."

Don't repeat the shortcomings

Nguyen Trong Thanh is the last contestant to receive a ticket to the final round of Road to Olympia 2023 when he won first prize in the fourth quarter competition with a total score of 330.

Trong Thanh is the contestant who won the most points in the Breakthrough Finish Line competition of Road to Olympia 2023 with 150 points.

According to Trong Thanh, his strengths are probably questions in the fields of history and society. "I hope that in the final match I will continue to promote that strength. Along with that, I hope to have luck to be able to win against the remaining contestants," Trong Thanh shared.

Regarding his own weaknesses, Trong Thanh admitted that he was confused and discouraged during the monthly and quarterly competitions. "I will not let that happen again in the finals," Trong Thanh shared.

Nguyen Trong Thanh said he devoted a lot of focus and enthusiasm to the Road to Olympia 2023 competition.

Trong Thanh said that in the past few days, he has supplemented his knowledge in all fields by reading textbooks, searching the internet, watching the news... to have the best preparation for the final match. Besides that, he has practiced his reflexes in answering questions.

Trong Thanh also confided: "I have devoted a lot of focus and enthusiasm to the Road to Olympia 2023 competition. So after each victory, the joy multiplies. And I hope to continue to have joy after the final match. And if the result is not as expected, I will not have any regrets because I always compete with the best spirit."

Notably, this is the second consecutive year that Tran Phu High School for the Gifted has had students participate in the final round of Road to Olympia. In 2022, Vu Bui Dinh Tung won third prize.

The Road to Olympia 2023 final will take place on Sunday morning, October 8, and will be broadcast live on VTV3 channel of Vietnam Television.

The winner will receive a laurel wreath, a trophy, a prize worth $40,000, and the opportunity to study abroad. The second-place winner will receive a prize of VND100 million. The two third-place winners will receive prizes worth VND50 million.
