At the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year held on the morning of September 12, the University of Natural Sciences honored 3 new students with the best entrance achievements, who were valedictorians in the school's admission methods in 2025.
Truong Van Hung - valedictorian of high school exam score method: "Persistence and discipline will lead to success"
As a former student of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, Truong Van Hung scored 29.75 points in block A00 (math 10 - physics 10 - chemistry 9.75) in the 2025 high school graduation exam. With this result, Hung became the national salutatorian and valedictorian of block A00 in Hue.
Not following the crash course or "lightning speed" formula, Hung is determined to self-study and build a clear, scientific learning path.
"During the learning process, as long as you make an effort, persevere, study at a reasonable intensity, combine sports and relaxation, you will achieve good results," Hung shared.

Not letting himself get caught up in exam pressure, Hung maintains an optimistic spirit, proactively arranging time between studying and resting to maintain stable performance.
Passionate about science and technology, Hung decided to study computer and information technology at the University of Natural Sciences, with the desire to contribute to the country's development in the digital age.
"The past learning journey has shown me that perseverance, effort and self-belief are the keys to success.
Entering a new journey, I hope to continuously learn, maintain my passion, overcome difficulties and challenges to bring good achievements to the school," Hung expressed.

Also scoring 29.75 points in block A00 in the 2025 high school graduation exam, Huynh Tuong An, a former student of Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School (HCMC), also became the national runner-up in block A00 (math 10 - physics 10 - chemistry 9.75).
For An, self-study is the key factor. An does not depend entirely on teachers but proactively researches, explores, and overcomes weaknesses by himself using many flexible methods. Besides textbooks, An takes advantage of learning resources on the Internet and AI tools.

"I often ask AI questions to understand more deeply or summarize the content in a logical, easy-to-remember way. But AI can also be wrong, so it is only used for reference," An shared.
An always maintains a balanced lifestyle, knows how to balance between studying and entertainment to keep her mind comfortable, not be pressured and have a clear direction for the future.
With a clear passion for technology, An chose to study artificial intelligence (AI) at the University of Natural Sciences.
"I believe that choosing AI will help me have many career opportunities, while contributing to the country with breakthrough and practical technologies," An said.
Tran Nhu Khai - valedictorian evaluates ability: "Set goals early, step firmly towards the future"
With a total score of 1,106/1,200 in the 2025 competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University (Vietnamese: 280, English: 226, mathematics and scientific thinking: 300), Tran Nhu Khai, a former student of Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted (Dak Lak), became the valedictorian of this admission method.
Unlike many of his peers, Khai soon determined his learning goal from the beginning of grade 12: to become a student majoring in computer science (advanced program) at the University of Natural Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University), where there are many excellent students with a passion for information technology.

Khai's passion for computers was inspired by his older brother - currently a student in the university's IT talent bachelor program. His companionship and encouragement are a strong source of inspiration for Khai to nurture his dream and constantly strive.
Entering a new journey, Khai expressed his desire to receive comprehensive training, not only improving professional knowledge, but also developing soft skills, research and creativity in a dynamic learning environment.
"My goal is to strive to graduate with excellent results, while creating products and research works of practical value, with my own mark," Khai shared.
