
The total cost of building the house was over 180 million VND. Of that amount, the Provincial Border Guard Command and Binh Son Refinery and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company contributed 60 million VND, with the remaining funds provided by the family. During the construction process, Binh Hai Border Guard Station mobilized officers and soldiers to provide 40 days of labor.
Mr. Pham Ban comes from a family that worships fallen soldiers, and he himself is a fisherman who works in the Hoang Sa fishing grounds. At the age of 20, while working, Mr. Ban unfortunately suffered an accident and lost his ability to work, causing him great hardship.
Following a survey, the Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard Command and Binh Son Refinery and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company agreed to provide financial support for the construction of a solidarity house to help Mr. Ban have a stable place to live.
In 2025, the Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard Command and Binh Son Refinery and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company provided over 600 million VND to build solidarity houses for 10 families and officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances in the province.
