Issuing regulations on OCOP product management

(kontumtv.vn) – In order to improve the quality of the One Commune One Product Program, the Provincial People's Committee has just issued the OCOP product management regulations consisting of 6 chapters and 15 articles, clearly stating the responsibilities of the OCOP product owners.

The Regulation encourages organizations and individuals producing OCOP products to develop and publish product standards and quality according to regulations; manage the quality of raw materials used to produce goods to ensure that they have clear origin and are preserved according to prescribed standards. Raw materials must be classified and processed according to the published production process to ensure the highest quality.

For state management agencies, the Provincial People's Committee requires good implementation of OCOP product quality management associated with management of the use of the Vietnam OCOP trademark in accordance with regulations. Regarding handling violations, if the OCOP product owner violates the regulations, the competent authority will consider and handle them according to current regulations./.
