The Economic and Budget Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Council focuses on participating in thematic supervision by the Provincial People's Council and developing plans, implementing thematic supervision, conducting surveys, and carrying out regular supervision in several areas.

On the afternoon of December 28th, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga, Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, chaired a conference to summarize activities in 2023 and implement tasks for 2024.

Attending the meeting were Comrade Ha Van Trong - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee and leaders of the Provincial People's Council's committees.

In 2023, with the attention, leadership, and coordination of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and relevant departments, agencies, and localities, the Economic and Budget Committee proactively developed work programs and plans; actively implemented and organized activities, performed its functions and tasks well according to regulations, and basically completed the content, programs, and plans set forth.

In 2023, the Economic and Budget Committee conducted a thematic supervision on "Results of updating and revising land maps and cadastral records in Ha Tinh province during the period 2020 - 2023"; organized 11 surveys and 27 working sessions with localities and relevant specialized sectors to serve the verification of contents submitted to the session and some contents related to state management in various fields.

Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Ha Van Trong, requested the Economic and Budget Committee to thoroughly understand the Provincial People's Council's thematic supervision program in order to develop a plan and organize participation effectively. At the same time, he urged the Committee to develop a specific supervision plan to ensure quality and efficiency in its implementation.

In addition, the Committee advised the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on the timely and effective handling of 27 issues arising between the two sessions; issued 56 verification reports on the contents presented at the 6 sessions of the 17th Provincial People's Council. At the same time, it actively coordinated with other committees of the Provincial People's Council to verify the contents presented at the sessions.

In 2024, the Economic and Budget Committee continued to closely adhere to and effectively implement its functions, tasks, and operational plans. This included focusing on participating in thematic supervision by the Provincial People's Council and developing plans for and conducting thematic supervision, surveys, and regular monitoring in several areas.
