Host nation Thailand has won 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal, temporarily leading the medal standings. The Philippines is in second place (1 gold, 1 bronze), and Myanmar is in third (1 gold).
The Vietnamese sports delegation has currently won 4 bronze medals. However, the medal rankings from the organizing committee have not yet been updated, so the Vietnamese delegation, along with Brunei and Timor Leste, are placed in the group that has not yet won any medals.
The Cambodian delegation withdrew from the 33rd SEA Games but still appeared on the rankings.

The 33rd SEA Games will take place from December 9 to 20 at three main venues: Chonburi, Bangkok and Songkhla. This Games is expected to have about 9,366 athletes participating, competing in 50 sports.
SEA Games 33 will have a total of 574 sets of medals awarded, 10 sets less than the last SEA Games.
