On September 27, the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province sent a document to the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards in the province regarding response to storm No. 10 (storm Bualoi).
Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training requested localities to develop plans to ensure safety for students, teachers and education managers, in order to minimize damage caused by storms.

At the same time, localities need to notify all preschool and primary school students to stay home on September 29 (Monday) to ensure safety.
From September 30, educational institutions will proactively monitor the storm's developments and post-storm circulation, report to the People's Committees of communes, wards and the Department of Education and Training to decide whether to let students stay home from school (if deemed necessary).
In addition, educational institutions need to review, inspect and consolidate school facilities, especially at remote schools in remote areas, where there is a high risk of landslides and flooding; move assets, machinery, equipment, desks, chairs, and records to safe places.
Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training also requested educational establishments to be ready to receive people taking shelter from the storm; promptly repair damage and clean up schools and classrooms immediately after the storm passes.
